Ch 25

The mind that rhymes

Rings bells and chimes 

In hallowed pools

Seagulls dine

I gave my love a ring of trees

She chopped them down

To make a home for bees

She gave to me a cup of wine

Which I melted down

And lost in time

Then happy is as happy has been

We danced barefoot upon the reef

And while crimson droplets 

Feast upon the shore

She took my mind to the devils door

He let us in with a sheepish grin

Apologetic for the mess therein

Then with a sigh of much ado 

He killed us both:
